David walks the Chilterns, photographs canal towns on weekend escapes, and hunts out landscapes in Buckinghamshire woodland. His photography is unhurried and observational — the same eye that notices the light on the Grand Union Canal at Berkhamsted, flowers in bloom sees monochrome shadows cast by cityscapes and people going about their lives.
With no favourite genre David uses the Fujifilm camera system, often shooting in black and white with Fuji's famous grainy film simulations tweaked to his own settings. No all photos will be crisp and perfectly in focus some with show that grainy film look with motion blur from slow shutter speeds.
