By spot metering, focusing, and recomposing in-camera, I often deliberately underexpose shadows to capture my on-the-spot vision of what the scene could be, rather than just what was there. Shot in monochrome with a red filter and minimal post-editing, each print is an authentic reflection of that artistic instinct."
